Here's a warm welcome to all of you who are visiting me. This is kind of new to me( the Old School) me, reaching out and connecting to people through this new way. Needless to say I am excited and looking forward to hearing from you all!

I feel each one of us has a storehouse of wisdom and plain practical advice inside of us and that each one can share,help, teach and just make another person's life richer simply by communicating more. Or I guess I just want to hear myself as I write to all of you,and while doing so, remind myself , that I have something that I would like to share with the world too.

--- a fair damsel,
a new project,
a new venture,

---a clean slate,
a new canvas,
a white page,
what is it that I will etch or sketch, I wonder?

---a new acquaintance,
a new friend,
a new dimension to all my relations,
what is it that you bring my way, I wonder?

--a year full of good health,
a year of joy,
a year of success,
What is it that you bring my way, I wonder?

A brand New Year,
---a good one for all of my family,
a good one for all of my friends,
a great one for one and all,
That is what you bring our way, I pray!

A brand New Year
---a toast to the one gone by,
a toast for the new one here,
a toast to all in good cheer
as we all ring in the Brand New Year!!

    Yes, the new year allows so many people to "clean the slate", make resolutions, begin new behaviors, etc. If we only could treat each day as a brand new year! Each day is an opportunity to share our love, kindness, joy with the world--starting with those near and dear to us.
